本书面向中职美容美发专业在校学生，力求发展学生的多种智能、培养学生的创造力、促进职业教育的课堂水平，以更好地提高学生的岗位适应能力，并为学生将来在工作岗位中的具体实践提供专业英语指导。本教材以两个实习生到MY STUDIIO的实习经历为主线，以情景教学为引导，以任务教学为基石，包含了美容、美发、美体、美甲等方面的英语知识，同时在教学形式、教学方法等多方面进行了改进。 

张艳红，1995年毕业于首都师范大学英语系。20年来一直工作在教育教学的第一线，有丰富的教学经验，教学理论扎实，论文多次获得国家级、市区级奖项。曾主持国家级、区级研究课题，主编专业英语教材?西餐英语?、?烹饪英语?和?中餐烹饪英语?，是北京市教学骨干教师。
